Hi, we are Boys* in Sync, a transdisciplinary performance collective from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. Our works combine storytelling, dance and post dramatic theatre with elements of improvisation to create new, queer temporalities.
We met many years ago at the Norwegian Theatre Academy and started our collective in 2018/19. Since then, we have continued working together across borders, finding ways to meet each other and our audiences in a time when coming together feels increasingly difficult.

Thoughts on Sustainability:
As a European theatre group that has to cross borders in order to meet physically, we ask ourselves: How can we share our work in sustainable ways?
In 2025, we put this question into practice by setting out on tour: five people traveling through five different countries in an electric minibus. We performed in a café, a museum, a community centre, a high school, theatres, and a local brewery.
For us, it was an extremely important experience - one that allowed us to learn more about our audiences and to explore resourceful and sustainable ways of making theatre!
